Ben Morrison is an actor, writer, comedian, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He began acting at age six and graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied under William H. Macy and David Mamet. Shortly after, he added stand-up comedy to his skill set, and his career has been progressing steadily since.
A familiar face in LA comedy clubs, Ben regularly performs at the Improv and Laugh Factory. He recently served as one of the head writers and producers for 140 episodes of the syndicated comedy game show Funny You Should Ask. On screen, Ben is best known for his recurring role as Young Eli David on NCIS, leading a season of MTV’s Punk’d, starring in a season of Mr. Personalities for Mark Cuban’s HDNet, and guest-starring alongside Jon Lovitz and Bill Bellamy on Mr. Box Office. He has also played lead roles in feature films such as Ouija Exorcism, From the Dead, and FOX’s 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity, where he portrayed an eerily convincing Abraham Lincoln.
As a comedian, Ben has appeared on Last Comic Standing, Comics Unleashed, and AXSTv’s Gotham Comedy Live, hosted by SNL’s Michael Che, among other shows.
In commercials, Ben has featured in national campaigns for KFC, Volkswagen, Amtrak, Dollar Shave Club, and appeared opposite Nick Cannon and Shaquille O’Neal in a series of Cartoon Network promos shown in movie theaters nationwide.
As a creator, Ben has written and directed commercial campaigns for online investment firm Wealthfront and global flooring manufacturer Daltile. He also wrote, directed, and starred in a popular music video for the Irish rock band Seneca. As a filmmaker, he produced multiple short films for Al Gore’s Current TV. His latest short film, The Star of Bethlehem, which he directed and starred in, is currently traveling the festival circuit.
Ben is also recognized for his passionate work raising awareness and using humor to address Crohn’s disease, which he was diagnosed with at 17, through his one-man show "A Comedian’s Guide to Crohn’s." He has collaborated closely with numerous charities, especially the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, to share his message of healing through laughter with those affected.
