Tamzin Brown is a British actress, artist, producer, and published author working across film, visual art, and literature. Her career spans both experimental and commercial cinema, featuring collaborations with notable figures such as filmmaker Harmony Korine and multi-talented artist James Franco. She appeared in Korine's short film Caput alongside Franco for MOCA's Rebel exhibition, curated by Franco, and later portrayed Natalie Wood in the feature-length art film Bungalow 2, directed by Franco for the same exhibition.
Her role as art critic Sara Speed in Tabloid Vivant earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 2016 Golden Door International Film Festival. On screen, she has acted alongside Milla Jovovich, Snoop Dogg, Pamela Anderson, Courtney Love, and Josh Hutcherson. As a queer artist, she has delivered genuine and nuanced portrayals of LGBTQ+ characters, including romantic scenes with Megan Fox in Zeroville and Summer Phoenix in The Mad Whale.
Tamzin has also appeared in several films directed by James Franco, including Zeroville, The Disaster Artist, Future World, and the adaptation of John Steinbeck's The Long Home. Her artistic collaborations extend to experimental films with Moby and participation in the London-based art collective WOWOW. She was photographed by Jeff Burton for Playboy, featured in David LaChapelle's art book Lost & Found, and walked in Gareth Pugh's debut London Fashion Week show in 2005. Her work has appeared in Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D Magazine, and Flaunt. Additionally, she has provided voice-over work for feature films such as Hot Fuzz and starred alongside Ido Goldberg in Disclosure's Magnets featuring Lorde, a music video with over 140 million views.
Trained in visual and performing arts at the University of the Arts London, Oxford College, and London's Old Vic Theatre during Kevin Spacey's tenure as Artistic Director, Tamzin brings a unique multidisciplinary approach to film, visual art, performance, and writing.
