Miraj Grbic is a Bosnian American actor best known for his role in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011). Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he developed an interest in art and acting at age 15, when he also began playing the guitar. After the Bosnian war ended, he enrolled at the Academy of Performing Arts Sarajevo. While still a student, he started acting in the National Theatre Sarajevo and appeared in films. His first leading film role was in Tunnel (1998). He earned a Master’s degree in Acting and has since worked extensively in theatre, film, and television. Miraj has appeared in over 30 feature films, numerous TV shows, and more than 60 theatre productions on the main stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo, performing in works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Moliere, Camus, and others. His acting career spans US, German, Austrian, Turkish, Irish, Australian, Croatian, and Bosnian productions. In 2008, he married actress Mara Omaljev, and they relocated to Los Angeles, California, in 2013. Miraj holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and practices mixed martial arts as a hobby. He was the lead singer of Karne, a band consisting of actors, artists, writers, and doctors, which released its debut album, Diktatura Amatera (The Dictatorship of the Amateurs), in 2012. Miraj is environmentally conscious and follows a vegan lifestyle.
