Biografia
Leonardo Fuica, also known as "Leo Zola," is the third of four children, born in Ponte Vedra, Spain, to Chilean parents.
At the age of four, he and his family moved to Casablanca, Morocco, where they stayed for one year before emigrating to Montreal, Canada.
At ten, he landed his first acting role as a guest star in "Lance et Compte."
Following guest appearances in several TV movies and the mini-series "L'affaire Kafka 10-07," he secured regular roles in the TVA dramas "Les 2 Frères" and RC's "Tag."
Since those series concluded, he has been continuously working, making his American debut in the film "Home Team" alongside Steven Guttenberg. It was during this project that he developed an interest in production.
All of his siblings are involved in the film industry: Demian Fuica is a director, Mayra Fuica is a key make-up artist, and Alexandra Fuica specializes in special effects and animation.
In 2007, after starring in his brother's film "Last Incarnations," he founded Fuica Productions Inc., expanding into producing, acting, and writing.
In 2011, the Fuica brothers released their first film, "La Run," which they primarily wrote, produced, and edited. It competed at WFFM (Montreal, Canada), FFA (Angoulême, France), and FIFPL (Liège, Belgium). For their efforts, they received three Jutra Award nominations in 2012 for Best Supporting Role, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing. In 2015, he wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, "L'ÉNERGIE SOMBRE P=WP," a paranormal-themed movie that was released in theaters across Quebec, Canada.
