Biografia
Doug Jeffery, born in Woodbury, New Jersey, spent his early years developing his entrepreneurial skills. As a teenager, he became a self-made businessman by running a hot dog cart. In his twenties, Doug traveled the world as the official host for Chippendale's before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
Doug enjoyed a successful career as a working actor, starring as the lead in over a dozen feature films. He also gained recognition as a celebrity host on the History Channel’s "Where Did It Come From?" and served as a celebrity judge on "Beauty and the Geek."
While living in Los Angeles, Doug showcased his carpentry talents by crafting furniture as a hobby. From selling his creations in small boutiques to collaborating with a friend in the film industry to build sets, Doug honed his skills with dedication. This experience led him to become a Construction Coordinator, working on Comedy Central shows such as The Man Show and Crank Yankers, both filmed at Hollywood Center Studios—where Doug’s company, 41 Sets, is now based.
Confident in his business acumen, Doug was quickly offered his own space at Hollywood Center Studios. Naming his company 41 Sets after his age at the time, he grew the business from a solo venture into a fully staffed, thriving set design and construction firm within six years.
Today, 41 Sets boasts an impressive portfolio, creating sets for top pop stars like Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kanye West. The company also supplies sets for reality shows, sitcoms, commercials, films, and print projects, continually enhancing its strong reputation.
Ever the entrepreneur, Doug has launched a new venture, Hollywood & Wine, in partnership with Emmy Award winner Valerio Ventura. This boutique wine label appeals to those seeking an affordable, unique, full-bodied wine with a red carpet-worthy presence. Doug took the concept further by designing a wine portfolio that captures the essence of Hollywood, reflecting its iconic film genres and glamour.
Doug Jeffery—actor, businessman, entrepreneur, and innovator—is always reinventing himself. He lives by the motto: If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
