Theresa June-Tao is an emerging talent frequently seen on television and in film. A distinguished student, she graduated from Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, Texas, where she was involved in the National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, Student Council, Theatre Club, and cheerleading—including the competition squad—and was crowned Homecoming Queen. After spending a year and a half in college, during which she won the Small Coed division at the Collegiate NCA National Championship in Daytona, Florida as a flyer, Theresa transitioned into the entertainment industry. She danced for Team NRG of the WNBA's Houston Comets, toured with Top 40 artists Frankie J and Baby Bash, appeared in John Legend and Andre 3000's "Green Light" music video, and portrayed a Malibu Squad Cheerleader in "Bring It On Cinco" alongside Christina Milian, among many other projects. Beginning her acting studies in 2007 at the Meisner Center in California, she gained valuable lessons in hard work, discipline, preparation, and self-discovery. She also trained under her mentor Lesly Kahn while taking on roles such as an FBI tech on "Bones," an apocalyptic fighter in "Wasteland," an abused Laotian immigrant in "Seed of Hope," a hairdresser on Matthew Perry’s "Go On," and a tough character in independent films like "Mile Marker 7." Theresa is best known for her role as Air Force pilot Lt. Solano in the sci-fi action film "Battle of Los Angeles" (2011), which frequently airs on the SYFY channel. Most recently, she appeared in the "Patience" episode of CBS’s internationally acclaimed series NCIS. Beyond acting, she enjoys writing, producing, shooting, and editing smaller projects. Theresa is also a part-time environmentalist, advocates for causes she believes in, sponsors a child named Sarmento from Mozambique through ChildFund, and supports organizations such as Amnesty International, the Human Rights Campaign, UNHCR, and Samaritan's Purse. Her commitment to these values is reflected in the name of her company, Golden Rule Entertainment.
