Lara, a Canadian actress of mixed South Asian and French Canadian heritage, has built a career spanning over 20 years in film, television, and commercials. She gained significant recognition through her work in children's television, notably starring in 52 episodes of the YTV and Jetix UK series Monster Warriors, along with numerous roles on the Family Channel and Nickelodeon. After taking a five-year hiatus to raise her two children, she returned to the screen with renewed determination. Her past notable credits include Flashpoint, Private Eyes, Warehouse 13, and Land of the Dead. Recent roles feature the lead in Lifetime's The Night Everything Changed, recurring parts in Hallmark's Mistletoe Murders, the animated series Paw Patrol, Amazon's Cross, CBC/Netflix's Workin' Moms, UP TV's Country Hearts, Hallmark's Operation Nutcracker, and CW's Wild Cards. Beyond acting, Lara has ventured into writing, with an award-winning script for her short film Reject currently in pre-production, alongside several television scripts in development. She also holds prestigious wine certifications, including the Wine Specialist Certificate, WSET Level 3, and the Italian Wine Scholar Certification.
