Ralph Votrian was an American actor whose career spanned seven decades. He entered show business at the age of eight, during the era when radio was dominant. His career began with live network radio dramas such as Jack Armstrong, Tom Mix, and Lux Radio Theatre, as well as live television programs including Playhouse 90, Front Row Center, and Lux Video Theatre.
He later transitioned to films, appearing in titles like The Imitation General alongside Glenn Ford and Until They Sail with Jean Simmons, where he famously swing danced with Sandra Dee. His early television roles featured appearances on Dragnet, Lassie, and The Twilight Zone.
Eventually, he expanded into voiceover work, collaborating on projects with notable figures like Tim Burton, Mark Rydell, Weird Al Yankovic, Will Ferrell, and others.
He also acted in Kiss Me, directed by Jeff Probst, starring Rita Wilson and Sara Bolger.
Throughout his career, Mr. Votrian worked alongside some of the biggest legends in film.
