Biografia
Matthew Goldberg is an Emmy-winning producer and creative executive with over two decades of experience in scripted, non-scripted, and commercial storytelling. He is the co-founder of the Film Forties, a group of production companies launched with filmmaker Peter Berg: Film 44 (scripted), Film 45 (non-scripted), and Film 47 (commercials). In 2017, Film 45 was acquired by Endeavor.
Goldberg has produced a wide range of critically acclaimed and award-winning projects, including Audible (Netflix), nominated for an Academy Award; State of Play (HBO), winner of a Sports Emmy; McCartney 3,2,1 (Hulu); The Keepers (Netflix); Good Night Oppy (Amazon Studios); and Shaq (HBO). His work spans global platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, Apple TV+, Showtime, ESPN, and Disney+.
In 2023, Goldberg and Berg launched Brighton Maintenance, a non-scripted venture focused on bold, character-driven formats. Recent scripted titles from Film 44 include Painkiller and American Primeval (both Netflix). In 2025, Film 47's NFL Super Bowl campaign earned a Top 10 USA Today Ad Meter ranking.
He is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Directors Guild of America (DGA), and the Television Academy, and holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
