Biografia
Michael Underhill, a Boston native, is an actor drawn to roles that require sharp comedic timing, dynamic energy, physicality, or athleticism. He has a strong passion for projects involving new play development, classic works, devised theater, and improvisation.
He graduated from Norwood High School in 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre - Performance from Northeastern University in 2010. He is set to complete his MFA in Acting through The Old Globe / University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program.
From 2009 to 2016, Michael was an artistic associate with Imaginary Beasts and served on the artistic board of Happy Medium Theatre Company between 2011 and 2015. His Boston theatre credits include performances with:
Huntington Theatre Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, Actors' Shakespeare Project, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Central Square Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, Theatre on Fire, Apollinaire Theatre, Maiden Phoenix Theatre Company, Whistler in the Dark, Heart & Dagger, Wax Wings Productions, ShakespeareNow!, and The Gold Dust Orphans.
