Quincy Brown seamlessly excels across film, television, music, fashion, sports, and technology. Known simply as Quincy, he is establishing himself as a memorable trailblazer. He gained widespread recognition for his standout role in the 2015 Cannes and Sundance Film Festival hit, Dope. His fans followed him to FOX’s acclaimed series Star, created by Lee Daniels, where he developed the character Derek Jones from his 2016 debut until the show’s finale in 2019. This role led to a recurring part in 50 Cent’s upcoming Power prequel, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, on STARZ.
Quincy emerged as one of Hollywood’s brightest young talents and was featured in Netflix’s Strong Black Lead campaign, “A Great Day in Hollywood.” He ranked in The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 10 social media influencers for 2018. In 2019, he made headlines when luxury brand Christian Louboutin entrusted him with launching their first sneaker collection, Run Loubi Run, granting him full creative control for their social media-driven campaign. Quincy also serves as an ambassador for leading fashion and tech brands such as Bose, Coach, MCM, Montblanc, Zegna, and Pixel. He created and launched the photo app Fresh Crop, which reached the top 50 in sales within 24 hours of release.
Born in New York to Km Porter and Al B. Sure, Quincy was named after his godfather, music legend Quincy Jones. Raised in Columbus, Georgia, he later moved to Los Angeles and was adopted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. He graduated from Calabasas High School and currently lives in Los Angeles.
