Biografia
Stefka Yanorova was born on October 16, 1969, in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. She completed her education at a French high school in her hometown. In 1993, she graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, earning a degree in Acting under Professor Krikor Azaryan. Her graduation performances included the role of Goneril in "King Lear," directed by Naum Shopov, and Anna in "Black Hole," directed by Nedialko Detchev.
She began her career at the Sliven Theater and later worked as a freelance actress until 2005, when she joined the Pleven Theatre "Ivan Radoev." From 2006 to 2009, she performed at the Satire Theater "Aleko Konstantinov." Since 2009, she has been a member of the troupe at the Theatre "Bulgarian Army" in Sofia.
Her notable theater roles include Mother in "Playing the Victim" by the Presnyakov Brothers, Elizabeth Dragodanoglu in "At the Foot of Vitosha" by Peyo Yavorov, Dolores in "Yerma" by Federico García Lorca, Jenny Shake in "Gangster Opera" by John Gay, Sofka in "Wag the Dog" by Emil Atanasov, roles in "Decameron" by Giovanni Boccaccio, Martha in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" by Edward Albee, Woman Writer in "Kickback" by Zachary Karabashliev, Stoyka in "Iron Candlestick" by Dimitar Talev, Eleonora Waksberg in "Scissors-Killer" by Jordan and M. Abrams, Phoebe in "As You Like It" by William Shakespeare, Young and Old Woman in "The Wallpaper Time," Ms. Popova in "The Bear" by Anton Chekhov, Catherine in "The Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare, and Stella in "A Streetcar Named Desire."
She is married and has one child.
