Biografia
Mary made her stage debut as a dancer at age three. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in TV, film, commercials, and print, as well as working behind the scenes as a writer, producer, and director.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, with Hungarian and Irish heritage, Mary is a former professional dancer and graduated Cum Laude with Honors in Theatre from The Ohio State University. She also completed studies at The Australian School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and trained at Playhouse West and Upright Citizens' Brigade, both located in Los Angeles.
She appeared in the romantic comedy Time Freak alongside Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones), Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender's Game), and Skyler Gisondo (Vacation, Santa Clarita Diet). This feature-length film is based on the Oscar-nominated short by writer/director Andrew Bowler and produced by Rhodes and QC Entertainment (Get Out, Band-Aid). Prior to that, she acted in the dark drama Juveniles with Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Kathleen Rose Perkins (Episodes), and Beau Knapp (Shots Fired, Dirty Lies, Death Wish).
In 2013, Mary wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Getting Lemons, which screened at five film festivals, including the prestigious Hollyshorts Festival, and received multiple award nominations. She won Best Actress at the Action on Film International Festival. The film was also selected for the 2013 Academy Awards Short Film Competition.
Her film BnB, which she produced, was accepted into both the Cleveland and Newport Beach International Film Festivals.
As of 2018, she is developing an hour-long television pilot and directing the documentary BEing KINDred, which focuses on positive stories of families supporting their transgender members.
