Biografia
Kym Jackson, born in the UK, relocated to Logan City, Australia at the age of three.
Her recent and upcoming projects include 'We Bury The Dead' alongside Daisy Ridley and Brenton Thwaites, 'Born To Lose' with Sarah Pidgeon and Dylan Arnold, 'Pellett' featuring Cindy Pickett and Lyndsay Wagner, 'The Cryptid' opposite Emmy winner Charlie Adler, and 'Wild Card' with David Arquette and Andrea Lomas.
Kym studied at John Paul College and worked as a tour guide and performer at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast before landing her first feature film role in Scooby Doo.
In 2004, she moved to Hollywood, where she lived for 16 years.
During that time, she secured numerous recurring and guest roles in notable series and portrayed the series regular character Neela, Queen of the Vikings, in ABC's $14 million adventure pilot 'Triangle', alongside Mike Vogel, Sarah Catherine Hook, Mallory Jansen, and Edwin Hodge.
She authored the Amazon best-selling textbook 'The Hollywood Survival Guide For Actors' and founded the actor education platform 'Secret Actor Society'.
Amid the pandemic, Kym returned to Australia and welcomed her son, Jackson Robert Steel, with husband Andrew Steel.
While there, she produced her first feature film, 'Other You', starring Luke Ford, and executive produced 'All My Friends are Back in Brisbane' (winner of Best QLD Film at GCFF 2026), alongside Andrew Steel and Dan Ewing.
Kym is a dog lover, beach enthusiast, mother, and chocolate aficionado, currently splitting her time between West Hollywood, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Sydney, Australia.
