Keshia Chante stands as one of Canada's premier entertainers and most versatile artists. A Canadian Grammy Award-winning singer, she is also a TV host, actor, songwriter, and humanitarian. Raised in Toronto, Keshia embraces her diverse heritage, which includes Portuguese, Puerto Rican, and Trinidadian roots. Beginning her career as a superstar singer at age 14, she signed with a major label and now boasts over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with four albums to her name. Throughout her career, Keshia has earned numerous honors, including multiple #1 hits, eight Top Ten radio singles, five Urban Music Awards, several Juno Award nominations, a Canadian Radio Award, and a #1 debut on the Billboard Charts in Japan for "Table Dancer," a song she wrote. She was honored with a star on Canada's Walk of Fame for her contributions to Canadian music and film.
As a TV host and personality, Keshia has conducted high-profile interviews with figures such as First Lady Michelle Obama, Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro, Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Alba, Adam Levine, Halle Berry, Colin Farrell, Matthew McConaughey, Drake, Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Christian Bale, and many others. She co-hosted BET's #1 music show, 106 & Park, alongside Bow Wow, and currently appears on Entertainment Tonight Canada. Additionally, she hosted the BET Awards Pre-Show, Notarized, and BET's New Year's Eve Show. Keshia also served as a music expert and international judge on CBS's The World's Best and judged two seasons of The Next Star.
Keshia has been featured in major campaigns for Pepsi, Canon Camera, and Ontario Tourism. Beyond her artistic achievements, her philanthropic work spans from Canada to Africa. She has hosted WE Day events in multiple cities, served as Youth Ambassador for the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, volunteered in Africa with CanFAR to build schools, worked with World Vision in the Dominican Republic, and performed alongside Alicia Keys at the Keep A Child Fundraising Concert.
