Biografia
Originally from Trois-Rivières, Isabelle Giroux graduated from the music program at Cégep de Drummondville in Quebec, where she studied under the acclaimed singer Johanne Blouin. She also completed her studies in Musical Theatre and Cinema at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles.
Isabelle appeared as the ballerina/princess Crinoline on the daily children's TV show "Salmidondis," broadcast on both Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec. In 2017, she received a nomination for a Gémeaux Award (French Canadian TV awards).
She portrayed Floralie in the bilingual children's web series Zoomizoom, available on CBC Gem and Tou.tv, earning another Gémeaux Award nomination in 2022.
One of her significant roles was Eve Charlebois, the wife of Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge's character suffering from ALS, in the series "Ruptures." French Canadian audiences may also recognize her from shows such as "Les Bracelets Rouges," "Une affaire criminelle," "Portrait-Robot," "Un lien familial," "District 31," and "Mensonges III," among others.
On the big screen, Isabelle features in the French Canadian film "Jusqu'au Déclin," available on Netflix. More recently, she appeared in "Une Révision," the first feature film by Catherine Therrien, produced by Films Séville. She has also participated in "Hibou" and "Rosalie."
For fans of musical theatre, she has returned multiple times to Montreal’s St-Denis Theatre, performing in productions like "Grease," "Hairspray," "Le Petit Roy," and "Le Big Bazar."
