Jaylin Sanders is an American dancer, choreographer, and performer known for his dynamic freestyle, sharp musicality, and versatility across film, television, stage, and commercial work. He discovered dance at the age of six after watching Breakin’, learning popping, waving, and gliding from his father. After moving to Tennessee at twelve, Sanders began training seriously and developed a deep passion for hip hop freestyle and choreography-laying the foundation for a rapidly rising professional career.
Sanders has performed for major artists including Dolly Parton, Galantis, Tyler Hubbard, Mr. Probz, Natasha Bedingfield, and Aminé, and has appeared in high-profile music videos for Gwen Stefani, YG x Travis Scott, RIIZE, Danielle Bradbery, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more. His commercial work includes campaigns for Chevrolet, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Nutribullet, RIPNDIP, and collaborations with brands such as Dollar General and Crush Soda.
In 2020, Sanders relocated to California, where he expanded his footprint in performance and choreography. He has appeared on television in So You Think You Can Dance (Season 18), finishing as a Top 6 finalist, and performed on Wayne Brady: The Family Remix on Hulu. His film credits include Remnants of Hope and Nike Shoes Give Superpowers. Onstage, he has performed in productions such as Hip Hop Nutcracker, Comic-Con San Diego, and live shows with Wayne Brady and Kurtis Blow.
A decorated freestyle dancer, Sanders has earned multiple wins and finalist placements in top-tier national dance battles, recognized for his originality, stage presence, and improvisational mastery.
Offstage, Sanders is a respected educator and choreographer. He has taught at premier institutions including Millennium Dance Complex (Nashville), Eighty Eight Studios (Los Angeles), The Room (Los Angeles), Loyola Marymount University, and USC. With training rooted in hip hop foundations, krump, house, litefeet, and improvisation, he is dedicated to inspiring the next generation while continuing to build a multifaceted career in entertainment.
