Biografia
Kayky began his career in advertising in 1997 in São Paulo. He made his acting debut in 1998, playing Caloca in the musical "Marcelo Quince Martelo." In 1999, he appeared on television for the first time in the soap opera "Chiquititas." In 2002, he starred as the protagonist in the telenovela "Zeca Vampire's Kiss." He faced a greater challenge in "Chocolate com Pimenta," portraying the dual role of Bernadette/Bernardo. In 2003, he appeared in the film "Xuxa Abracadabra." The following year, he participated in the telenovela "New Beginnings," and in 2005, he played Gumercindo in "Soul Mate." In 2006, he featured in "Nicolas Snakes and Lizards." Subsequent roles included parts in "Seven Sins" (2007) and "Three Sisters" (2008), along with appearances in "Tips An Alluring" and "Cases and Chances." In 2009, he acted in the film "In the Street 401" and portrayed Sinval in the telenovela "Passione." He also appeared in the films "Desenrola," released in January 2011 and directed by Rosane Svartman, and "Pains, Loves and Others," directed by Ricardo Pinto. After his role in "Passione" in 2011, his contract with Globo TV was not renewed. That same year, he toured Brazil with the play "It's Cold," written by Mario Bortolotto, which tells the story of two brothers, performing across several states. In 2012, Kayky starred in the film "Finding a Polish Brazilian," playing Nelson, a homeless young man; this was his first film shot in English. Also in 2012, at just 23 years old, he was cast as Jesus Christ in the 16th staging of the Passion of Christ in São Paulo, performing before an audience of 30,000. In 2013, he studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York to enhance his acting skills. In 2014, he moved to Point Dume, California, where he spent time surfing and advancing his film career.
