Greg Kriek was officially shortlisted for the 2024 Primetime Emmy® Awards in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, recognized for his compelling role opposite Kevin Hart in DIE HART 2: DIE HARTER. He competed alongside industry heavyweights such as Barry Keoghan, Robert Downey Jr., Callum Turner, and Taylor Kitsch.
Boasting over 95 international screen credits, Greg has become one of South Africa's most internationally recognized actors and producers working in Hollywood. He is celebrated for his versatility and transformative performances, particularly in award-winning projects, making him South Africa's most internationally credited actor in his field.
Recent notable roles include Dr. Tony Sinclair in the Emmy®-winning film The Serengeti Rules, and his intense portrayal of Karl Stromberg in the four-time Emmy-nominated series Die Hart 2: Die Harter, starring alongside Kevin Hart, John Cena, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
In 2023, Greg earned the Best Supporting Actor of the Year award at the Oscar-qualifying Los Angeles Annual Film Awards for his powerful performance in the Holocaust drama TRUST, opposite Emily Bader.
He is also featured in Zack Snyder’s global REBEL MOON franchise as Marcus, sharing the screen with a star-studded cast including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Charlie Hunnam, and Djimon Hounsou. Other recent projects include FLY ME TO THE MOON, directed by Greg Berlanti, with Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, and Woody Harrelson.
