Award-winning Producer and Talent Manager Chris S. Lee launched his LA and Seoul-based production & management company, B&C Group (Bold & Courageous), in February 2017. B&C has Film, TV, and animation projects set up and produced with Netflix, Disney+, Paramount, Sony, 20th Century Fox, DC Comics, and Korean studios CJ E&M, Megabox Plus M, Kakao Entertainment, and many others across Hollywood & Korea. Lee has been a producer and manager for nearly 2 decades in both markets. He began his career in the U.S. working for A-List feature film producers Scott Rudin (No Country For Old Men), Lawrence Bender (Pulp Fiction), and Barry Josephson (Bad Boys). He then joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in the TV Department before becoming a member of CAA Media Finance (f.k.a. Film Finance Group), which launched, packaged, and arranged the financing & distribution of over 50 films per year.
Prior to B&C, Lee was the Co-Founder and CEO of Be Funny Studios, a digital content studio based in Korea, formed in partnership with Funny or Die and CAA. Lee led creative development, talent packaging, and physical production of over 25 premium short-form digital content projects starring major Hollywood & Korean talent.
As the Founder/CEO of B&C, Lee is passionately devoted to championing the careers of top-class storytellers and emerging voices and spearheading the production of a global Film/TV slate dedicated to authentic and borderless storytelling. Lee produced Bedford Park, for which Lee was awarded the PGA Mark (p.g.a.), and the film was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for worldwide distribution in 2026, after winning the Special Jury Award for Debut Feature in US Dramatic Competition at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Lee is a member of the Producers Guild of Korea (P.G.K.) and serves on the PGK International Committee, where he plays an active role in the global expansion of Korean cinema in addition to his representation work in crossing over Asian stars to Hollywood.
