Biografia
Brand Rackley gained recognition starring in the 2006 indie cult hit "The Stanton Family Grave Robbery." His performance as a cynical ladies' man in the 2008 film "Simmons on Vinyl" earned acclaim from both critics and audiences, along with the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 deadCENTER Film Festival. His third feature, "S&M Lawn Care," won the Special Jury Prize at the 2010 Friars Club Film Festival, where critics applauded Rackley's compelling portrayal of the villain.
More recently, Rackley appeared in "Roark Comptons: The Motion Picture" and made a cameo in "Pictures of Superheroes." He was one of the three leads in the 2011 film "Cinema Six," which premiered at the 2012 Dallas International Film Festival and was selected for the deadCENTER Film Festival.
Rackley collaborated with Fox Digital Studios to develop pitches for new web series. He has shared the screen with Helen Thomas, Barry Corbin, Bill Hader, and more recently, Sienna Miller and Eric Roberts. His extensive work includes hundreds of short films, such as the acclaimed "Edgar Freezes," "The Bedazzler," and the viral "KANE." He also starred in the short "Hitboys II Men," featured on MTVU's Best Film On Campus. His latest starring role is in the short "Busch Country," which is currently making rounds at film festivals. Rackley has performed at the Actors' Studio West and is actively producing and starring in various web series for 20th Century Fox's Fox Digital Studios, MSN.com, RooftopComedy.com, FilmThreat.com, and Singletree Productions.
He has been featured on prominent film websites including Cinematical.com, SlashFilm.com, FilmDrunk.com, FilmSchoolRejects.com, and Slackerwood.com. Rackley works in film and commercial productions across Oklahoma, Texas, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
