Biografia
Jordan Cushing is a cinematographer based in London, England. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University in 1996. During the late 1990s boom in the Toronto film industry, he worked as a Camera Assistant and Electronic Cameraman on projects such as Cypher (2002), X-Men (2000), and Frequency (2000), as well as numerous television movies and series including Mutant X and Gene Roddenberry's Earth Final Conflict. In subsequent years, he focused exclusively on cinematography, building an extensive portfolio of television, short films, and corporate projects.
His notable work includes five feature films, one of which originated from a short film he shot: Sam's Lake (2002); the indie superhero hit Sidekick (2005); the B-horror film S.N.U.B! (2008), which led to collaborating again with Director Jonathan Glendening on 13 Hrs (also known as Night Wolf, 2010); and two recent romantic comedies, Love's Kitchen (2011) and Booked Out (2012), featuring screen legends Sylvia Syms, Simon Callow, and Peter Bowles.
He has also worked alongside many acclaimed actors such as Dougray Scott, Tom Felton, Caroline Quentin, Claire Forlani, Danny John Jules, Gemma Atkinson, Ray Fearon, Wil Johnson, Simon MacCorkindale, John Lynch, Joseph Millson, Lee Boardman, Cherie Lunghi, Michelle Ryan, Gary Mavers, Harriet Thorpe, Jonathan Moore, Tom Cotcher, Jeremy Swift, Danny Tenant, Sam Moses, Gord Rand, and many others.
