Liz Stewart Barnes is an American comedian, actress, and writer. Raised in Houston, Texas, she began performing improv at local theaters while studying theatre and opera at the University of Houston. She later moved to Chicago to study and graduate from the renowned Second City. Liz earned critical praise from the Chicago Tribune for her role in the city’s longest-running improvisational long-form show, (BS), which was called a "must see." It was in Chicago that she discovered her passion for stand-up comedy before relocating to Los Angeles. Since moving to the City of Angels, Liz has appeared on the SyFy Channel, TV Guide Network, Reelz Channel, Nuvo TV, Nickelodeon, CBS, and Sirius XM radio. Her sketch comedy group, Frog Island, went viral with millions of views and was featured on Comedy Central’s Atom TV. Liz is recognized as one of the top improvisers globally and is a distinguished Groundlings Sunday Company alumna.
