In 2010, Jason appeared alongside Tracey Morgan in Kevin Smith's comedy "Cop Out," which also featured Bruce Willis and Guillermo Diaz. That same year, he landed a leading role in the sports drama "Game Time," directed by the Hallivis brothers and distributed by Lionsgate Entertainment (released in the U.K. as "The Duel" by Chelsea Films).
In 2011, Jason guest-starred on HBO's "How To Make It In America," acting opposite rapper Kid Cudi and Victor Rasuk. He also appeared as Manuel alongside Casey Wilson in the 2013 Sundance selection "Ass Backwards."
Jason has successfully crossed over into national print, commercial, and voice-over work. He has been hired by top-tier companies and major networks, including Apple, Frito-Lay, Schwinn, Southwest Airlines, Boost Mobile, and Under Armour. Additionally, he has been featured in campaigns for Adidas, Russell Simmons' Argyleculture, and has walked the runway for Jay-Z's Rocawear brand.
In 2018, Jason lent his voice to the ranch hand Abe in Rockstar Games' highly anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2," which broke sales records within three days of release. That year, he also portrayed Benjamin in Bobby Ashley's urban dramatic web series "The Ave."
In 2019, Jason appeared as one of the bodyguards for hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod (played by Damian Lewis) in Season 4 of Showtime's hit series "Billions."
In 2020, he was cast by Rhavynn Drummer in Dui Jarrod's acclaimed series "Sauce," playing the role of Roger. The series premiered at the Urbanworld Film Festival in NYC.
In 2022, Jason was cast by one of his favorite directors, M. Night Shyamalan, as a police officer in Season 2 of Apple TV's hit series "Servant."
Jason is also an associate producer and one of the ensemble leads in Noel Calloway's upcoming destination wedding romantic comedy "Aurora," alongside Tobias Truvillon, Wakeema Hollis, Marc John Jeffries, and Julito McCullum.
Residing in NYC, Jason enjoys mentoring youth, spending time with family, creative writing, Bikram yoga, and painting. He is the founder of Prime Time Event Staffing, a live events consulting and production company.
