Biografia
Steve Golin was the founder and CEO of Anonymous Content, a multimedia development, production, and talent management company located in Culver City, California. The company brought Golin back together with directors such as David Fincher, Neil LaBute, David Kellogg, Gore Verbinski, and Mark Romanek, all of whom had collaborated with him during his first venture, Propaganda Films. While overseeing a range of film and television projects at Anonymous, Golin also led the commercial division to become one of the industry's top commercial production companies, creating advertisements and campaigns for major brands including Nike, Intel, Citibank, United Airlines, Ford, Audi, Coca-Cola, and Pepsi. The company’s music video division, which won Best Hard Rock New Artist Clip of The Year at the 2000 Billboard Music Video Awards for A Perfect Circle’s “Judith,” directed by David Fincher, also produced videos for artists such as the Wallflowers, Third Eye Blind, Smash Mouth, Filter, and Cypress Hill. Under Golin’s direction, the management division represented over 50 writers, directors, and actors. Previously, as co-founder of Propaganda Films, Golin helped cultivate filmmakers like Michael Bay, Spike Jonze, Dominic Sena, Simon West, and Antoine Fuqua. He also managed the development and production of acclaimed television series including Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), Twin Peaks (1990), and the Peabody Award-winning Tales of the City (1993). Golin expanded Propaganda into one of the world’s largest music video and commercial production companies, earning more MTV Video Awards and Cannes Palme d'Or Awards than any other company. He played a key role in transforming the music video and commercial industries with sophisticated, award-winning projects for artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Bonnie Raitt, George Michael, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as major advertisers like Budweiser, AT&T, IBM, Nike, Apple, and McDonald's.
