Born on October 10, 2000, in Georgia, Aedin is the youngest of three siblings.
He began his acting career at age 6, appearing in numerous commercials such as Orbit Gum, Verizon, and Capital One as the Visigoth kid "Garth Jr." His charming and fearless demeanor, combined with a straightforward attitude, quickly led him to television and film roles.
Mincks drew inspiration from films like "Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars." He has appeared in popular TV shows including "The Sarah Silverman Program," "ER," "Desperate Housewives," "The Middle," and "New Girl."
He made his theatrical debut playing Billy Bob Thornton's son in "Faster" (2010) alongside Dwayne Johnson. This was followed by his role as young Allan in the comedy "The Hangover Part II" (2011), starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms. He showcased his comedic talents in Seth MacFarlane's "Ted" (2012) as Robert, the son of Giovanni Ribisi's character Donny, acting opposite Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. During this time, he also had a recurring role in the first two seasons of the Disney Channel series "A.N.T. Farm," later becoming a series regular in its third and final season.
His recent work includes the film "Any Day" (2015), featuring Sean Bean, Eva Longoria, and Kate Walsh, along with appearances on TV series such as "Colony" (USA), "Fresh off the Boat" (CBS), and a brief recurring role on the short-lived series "Bad Teacher" (CBS).
Outside of acting, Mincks enjoys studying history and spending time with his two dogs, Angus and Frodo. His hobbies include archery, swimming, and football.
