Marcellas Reynolds, often called the "Walking, talking fashion Wikipedia," has carved a distinctive career path from wardrobe stylist and entertainment reporter to acclaimed author. His passionate love for pop culture has been showcased on prominent shows such as ABC News, Access Hollywood, Good Morning America 3, and Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.
Marcellas’ journey in entertainment began when legendary model agent Marie Anderson discovered him. He traveled globally, walking runways and working with celebrated fashion photographers including Norman Jean Roy and Bruce Weber. His charm and skill earned him campaigns with renowned brands like GAP, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Nautica. While modeling in New York, Marcellas found his true calling in fashion styling. His work appeared in top-tier magazines such as British GQ, Grazia, InStyle, and British Vogue. He also styled high-profile celebrities like Rebecca Hall, Sharon Stone, and Justin Timberlake, which opened doors to Hollywood and a flourishing career as an entertainment reporter and TV host.
In October 2019, Marcellas released his debut book, "Supreme Models: Iconic Black Women Who Revolutionized Fashion," followed by his second book, "Supreme Actresses: Iconic Black Women Who Revolutionized Hollywood," in October 2021. Both titles received widespread acclaim, with American Vogue and Teen Vogue naming "Supreme Models" among "the best fashion books ever published." The Library of Congress further honored his work by including both books in its prestigious historical collection.
In September 2022, Marcellas collaborated with executive producers Iman and RJ Cutler of This Machine to create 'Supreme Models,' a groundbreaking six-part documentary series for YouTube Originals. The series achieved an impressive 8.3 million views through a powerful partnership with American Vogue. In January 2024, Abrams Books published Marcellas’s third book, "Supreme Sirens: Iconic Black Women Who Revolutionized Music," featuring Missy Elliott on the cover, a Foreword by Monica, and interviews with artists such as Brandy, Roberta Flack, Samara Joy, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, and Vanessa Williams.
