Chinawut-Stéphane Indracusin (RTGS: Chinnawut Inthra-khusin), also known as Chin, is a Thai singer born to a French mother and a Thai father.[1] He began his career early by signing with Thailand's largest record label, GMM Grammy, which selected him for the G-JUNIOR young artist development program.
In 2003, Chin joined fellow G-JUNIOR musicians Jay and Guy to form the group Big 3. Their music was initially classified as hip hop but has since been redefined as pop and R&B.
After releasing their album "We are Big 3," the members pursued solo careers. Chin and Guy released a second album in 2006 under G-JUNIOR and 10th Club.
In May 2007, Chin released his debut solo album, "Chin Up." Its lead single, "Bpak Mai Trong Gub Jai," quickly became a hit, topping Thai music charts for several weeks. This success established Chin as one of Thailand's leading teen artists.
Chin traveled to New York City to work on his album "Maybe I'm Bad."
In late 2008, Chin appeared in a Malaysian commercial for Sony Skinny T, recording several of his songs in Chinese, including "Term Mai Keuy Tem," "Roo Chai Mai Wa Ruk," and more recently, "Keun Tee Neung." He is now the ambassador for Sony Skinny T Digital Camera in Malaysia and is gaining popularity as a singer there.
On December 16, 2008, he released his second single album, "Maybe I'm Bad," featuring top 10 tracks like "One Night Stand" ("Keun Tee Neung"). Other notable songs from the album include "Too Fast Too Serious" and "Hua jai mai chai gra-dard."
The album has produced three music videos: "Keun Tee Neung," featuring Chin; "Too Fast Too Serious," featuring Chin and fellow label artist DUCKBAR's Fifi - Natasha Josephine Blake; and "Hua jai mai chai gra-dart," featuring Chin, his younger sister Sophie, and Singaporean-Swedish model Ase Wang.
Chin also starred as Joshua in the original Taiwanese drama "Love 18.
