Kim Baptiste is an American actress, entrepreneur, and self-tape provider known for her emotional depth, grounded performances, and commanding on-screen presence. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kim Baptiste began her career in print and commercial modeling before being introduced to the world of filmmaking in 2006 while working as Paula Patton’s stand-in on Déjà Vu, starring Denzel Washington and directed by Tony Scott.
Dedicated to developing her craft, Baptiste trained in the Ivana Chubbuck Technique under acting coach Jerry Katz while continuing her growth through workshops, private study, and years of professional experience in television and film.
Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for portraying strong, layered, and emotionally authentic characters. She is recognized for her recurring role as Mona on Tyler Perry’s Zatima, as well as her work in Hallmark Channel’s The Ultimate Legacy, part of the acclaimed Ultimate film series, along with additional television and film projects that showcase both her dramatic range and natural screen presence.
