Sheila Thompson, widely-known for her warm and encouraging nature, is a casting director, producer, and recently, award-winning director. Under Sheila Thompson Casting, she has over two decades of experience in commercials, music videos, television, and films - including the Japanese remake of Sideways, Anna Nicole (2008), What Would Jesus Do 2 (2014), and God's Club (2015).
Over the years, Sheila has produced more than 29 theatrical and live productions, including 16 plays and events staged across India, Amsterdam, Singapore, Canada, and Malaysia - earning two Artist Achievement Awards.
In 2009, inspired by her fiance's passing, Sheila founded the Robert Lee Rush Foundation, a nonprofit focused on empowering and enriching young adults.
She extended her nonprofit involvement in 2012, coordinating major events for the Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (K.E.Y.S.) and the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (F.C.C.I.).
By 2013, while continuing festival work, Sheila also orchestrated the red-carpet premiere and VIP party for the film Doonby, starring John Schneider. In 2015, she served as TV Casting Director for The Oscars Fashion Passport and Unify LA at the Staples Center.
2010 to 2014, she served as the on-site general manager for the Pan Pacific Film Festival, also contributing to the 168 Film Projects.
