Iyad Hajjaj is an acclaimed actor and filmmaker, recognized with multiple awards. He is the founder and Executive Director of MISSING PEACE PICTURES, Inc., as well as the President of the non-profit organization I CAME FOR PEACE.
Iyad is currently developing TEN and A HALF MINUTES, a home invasion action/thriller feature film inspired by a true story. Recently, he produced, directed, and starred in the multi-award-winning film DREAMS I NEVER HAD, alongside Hollywood stars Malcolm McDowell and Robin Givens.
He has also served as a cultural advisor on numerous major films and TV shows, collaborating closely with Hollywood executive producers and directors.
As an actor, Iyad has amassed over 95 diverse acting credits. His recent roles include a recurring part in the Marvel limited series Ms. Marvel, appearances in the podcast series The Weird, a role in the South Korean film The Point Men, joining the cast of the HBO feature film THE HUNT, co-starring on Showtime’s Black Monday (2019), and roles in NBC’s Will and Grace, USA’s Shooter, CBS’s Madam Secretary, as well as guest spots on FOX’s Touch and TNT’s Agent X. He also played a supporting role in the feature film THE WIZARD alongside Jon Voight.
Iyad’s hobbies include karate, horseback riding, hiking, colored pencil drawing focused on love and peace, soccer, singing in Arabic, and instructing Arab folk dance (Dabka). He is fluent in Arabic (various dialects) and English, with limited proficiency in Hebrew and some Spanish. Iyad graduated from Bethlehem University as a physical therapist and is certified as a behavioral therapist. In both professions, he has worked with individuals facing physical and developmental challenges, deepening his appreciation for life.
