Simone Kisiel, an honors graduate of NYU Tisch, has been an acclaimed filmmaker for over a decade. Her feminist horror anthology, 'Bugs: A Trilogy,' earned her Best Director at the 2018 Women in Horror Film Festival and is currently available on VOD platforms alongside her horror/comedy found footage feature, 'Housed.'
Since establishing Magic Dog Productions in 2015, Simone has produced numerous award-winning, self-funded, and client-commissioned short narrative fiction films, including 'Good Intentions' (ShortsTV), 'The Bet,' 'Tartarus,' 'Recovery' (ShortsTV), 'Book,' 'Slaying Song Tonight,' and 'No Peeking Cindy.' As a documentary filmmaker, she received Best Director honors for her environmental documentary short, 'It's Good Business,' from The Global Impact Film Festival 2019 and the Environmental Film Festival 2022.
Simone has also directed, shot, and edited video content for major brands such as American Express, Microsoft, Google, Intel, Dell, MasterCard, Maybelline, and Clé de Peau Beauté. She has worked with corporate clients and directed celebrities including Ted Danson, Dakota Fanning, Ella Ballinska, Diana Silvers, Rosario Dawson, and Venus Williams.
