Biografia
Klaus Mikoleit was born in Berlin in 1945. He studied acting at Berlin's Max-Reinhardt-Seminar. Throughout his career, Mikoleit was a member of the Schauspielhaus Bochum (1969–1976), the Thalia Theater Hamburg (1976–1980), and the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin (1980–1986). He collaborated with notable directors such as Peter Zadek, Hans Neuenfels, Boy Gobert, Michael Verhoeven, and Boleslaw Barlog.
In the early 1980s, he gained recognition in film and television following his roles in 'Die Geschwister Oppermann' (1981, directed by Egon Monk) and 'Die flambierte Frau' (1982, directed by Robert van Ackeren). Since then, he has primarily worked in these media, occasionally returning to theater with appearances at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus in 1986 and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg in 1992.
