Biografia
Aleksey Aleksandrovich Chadov was born on September 2, 1981, in Solntsevo, Moscow region, RSFSR, USSR, now a suburb of Moscow, Russia. He is the younger sibling of actor Andrey Chadov. Their father, Aleksandr Chadov, passed away in 1986, and both brothers were raised by their single mother, Galina Petrovna Chadova, who transitioned from engineering to accounting and teaching. She nurtured a close bond between the brothers, who, though resembling each other, are not twins, being sixteen months apart. They share a strong friendship and collaborate professionally, often attending casting calls together, which expanded opportunities for directors.
Both Aleksey and Andrey started acting during their school years and continued as amateur actors at the municipal theater-studio in Peredelkino. Aleksey's first acting instructor was Aleksey Kozhikhin. At age 12, in 1992, he received recognition for his stage work and was sent to the Mediterranean resort of Antalya. Throughout school, he portrayed a wide array of roles in both classical and modern plays. After finishing school, he enrolled at the Shchepkin Theatrical School in Moscow, studying under Vladimir Seleznyov, and graduated as an actor in 2003. While still a student, he debuted in film with a leading role in War (2002), directed by Aleksey Balabanov. In 2002, Chadov earned the Best Actor Award at the Montreal Film Festival.
Chadov is a Russian Orthodox Christian and currently lives in Moscow, Russia.
