Bradley Laborman is an American filmmaker, writer, actor, comedian, author, and early livestreaming pioneer.
Born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Laborman developed a passion for storytelling and performance at a young age. After overcoming a childhood speech impediment, he became involved in speech competitions, theatre, radio, and television production. His interest in entertainment continued through college, where he studied media and theatre at Buena Vista University and created the original feature-length version of BRADMAN: The Movie as a student project.
Following college, Laborman continued to hone his craft through professional theatre, radio broadcasting, and television production. During this time, he created and hosted the popular Iowa City public-access television program *Tonight with Bradman*, which ran for seven years and helped establish his reputation as a performer, interviewer, and producer.
Beginning in 2006, Laborman became one of the early pioneers of internet livestreaming through the website Justin.tv, broadcasting years before livestreaming became a mainstream form of entertainment. His work placed him among the first generation of independent online creators and helped build an audience during the formative years of creator-driven media.
Building on that success, Laborman created and starred in the viral breakup series *iDUMP4U*, which gained national attention and was later adapted for television. The project opened doors to additional opportunities in television, digital media, and entertainment while further establishing his reputation for blending real-life situations with humor and storytelling.
Over the years, Laborman has worked as a writer, producer, director, actor, and host across a wide range of projects. His credits include *Rideshare*, *The Chunky Zeta*, *BRADMAN: The Movie* (2023), numerous online series, and thousands of hours of live and recorded content spanning nearly two decades.
Laborman is the founder of Bradman Media and the creator of *Small Town Drama*, a documentary-style television series set in the fictional town of Pleasant Storm, Texas. He is also a published author whose works include both horror fiction and children's books. Drawing from experiences that took him from Iowa to New York, Los Angeles, and back again, his work focuses on character-driven stories that blend humor, heart, and authenticity.
Today, Laborman continues to develop independent film, television, literary, and digital media projects while championing creator-driven entertainment and innovative forms of storytelling.
