Carol Ann is best known for the 2023 TV pilot "Pickleball Is Life: Dill With It!" where she serves as Executive Producer, creator, and star. She also co-wrote and co-directed this mockumentary.
Her strengths include sharp comedic timing and a talent for improv. She often portrays strong, confident, intelligent, and relatable women. Carol Ann has held leading roles in numerous indie films and Lifetime movies such as "A Party Gone Wrong," "Monarch Butterfly," "Don't Think," and "Mom." Her TV credits include appearances on "Law & Order: SVU" (season 20) and Showtime’s "The Loudest Voice." On stage, she earned a Best Actress award for her performance in the play "The Ladies."
Her latest short film, "Crumb Cake," which she also executive produced, won seven awards, including Best Actress at the Southern Shorts Awards.
A Philadelphia native, Carol Ann holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Theatre from the University of Delaware. Her senior thesis film, which she wrote, produced, and starred in, received an Emmy from the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She is a member of the NSPF theatre company led by Paul Michael of The Network NYC and has trained with Terry Schreiber, studied at HB Studios, and taken improv classes at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Additionally, she studied Acting for the Camera and took intensive workshops with Seth Barrish of The Barrow Group.
Beyond acting, Carol Ann is a mother of two who enjoys spending time with her children. She loves adventure and has traveled extensively across the US, various islands, and countries, with Italy as her favorite destination. Inspired by her favorite book and movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun," she dreams of retiring someday in a Tuscan villa.
