Solange Keoleyan is a renowned author and screenwriter specializing in Film and TV. Among her internationally acclaimed works is "Violetta," the most successful Disney children's series produced outside the United States, which consists of three seasons and a total of 240 episodes. The series aired across Latin America, Europe, and Asia via Disney Channels and free-to-air TV in numerous American and European countries, gaining immense popularity in France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Israel.
Created by Solange, the original concept and program led to the production of three films. Disney built a comprehensive 360-degree business around it, including merchandising, music shows, and the record industry. Additionally, the spin-offs "The U-Mix Show" and the video blogs "Ludmila Cybertar" and "V-log de Francesca," all written by Solange, generated significant online impact.
For many years, she collaborated with the renowned producer Cris Morena. In 2004, she developed the young children’s TV series "Floricienta" as an author, which includes 361 episodes (175 in season one, 186 in season two). The show was broadcast throughout Latin America on Disney Channel and sold to free-to-air networks in France, Spain, Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Uruguay, Poland, the USA (Telemundo), and Colombia. Local adaptations were created in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
Both "Violetta" and "Floricienta" have earned numerous national and international awards.
Her original project "Bandolero," a two-season musical series for teenagers featuring an urban superhero, was acquired by producer Campanario. The project brought on board the acclaimed director and Hollywood choreographer Kenny Ortega (known for High School Musical, Dirty Dancing, Michael Jackson’s This Is It, Descendants) as showrunner.
Solange led one of the writers’ rooms at Cris Morena Group and served as author for several productions, including "B&B," which aired on Telefe Argentina. She also worked with Pol-ka Producciones, one of Latin America’s leading fiction producers.
In film, she wrote the screenplays for "Dad is an Idol" and "Erreway, 4 Roads," both released in Argentina and across Latin American theaters.
Currently, she is writing a science fiction series for Mexico and a series for Turner.
