Samantha Ann Bailey was born in California and began modeling at just 2 months old in a local scholarship pageant. By 16 months, she was performing in local dance shows alongside her aunts. At age 3, Samantha earned the Little Miss & Mister Hawaiian Tropic West Coast title and modeled for Hawaiian Tropic and Hollywood Babe clothing. She has always enjoyed performing and being the center of attention.
At 3 years old, Samantha received her first Honda 50cc Dirt Bike, which she called the "best present ever" until her little sister, Brianna, was born in 2005 and became the new "best present ever." She loves supercross and often goes dirt bike riding with her family. Currently, Samantha is teaching Brianna how to ride. She started Kindergarten at age 4 and was reading before turning 4½. Exceptionally bright, she entered 3rd grade in August 2008, a full year early. Her favorite subjects are Art, Science, and Math.
In 2006, Samantha met Nelson Parks from The ESI Network, who invited her to a meeting. Within a week, she was signed with ESI for management and with Amsel, Eisenstadt & Fraizer for theatrical and commercial representation. Soon after, she signed with Colleen Cler for print representation. Since then, Samantha has done print work for Disney, Educational Insights, TeeTots, and many others. She has appeared in a national Lowe’s commercial, the movie "The Hottie and the Nottie," the "NCIS" episode "Angel of Death," and her latest role as Young Olive Snook on ABC’s "Pushing Daisies." Samantha joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2007.
Over the past two years, Samantha has helped raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, participating in several JDRF walks in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Oxnard. This year, she designed a t-shirt and a coloring book for the kids attending the walk.
Samantha is an outgoing, articulate young girl full of personality. She loves telling jokes and making others laugh. With a strong passion for acting and entertaining, she is definitely one to watch!
