Nickola Shreli (Nikolla Shkreli) is an Albanian-American actor, writer, and filmmaker from Detroit, recognized for his work in Cash Only (2015), Killerman (2019), Line of Duty (2019), and Power: Force (2025).
Born in Detroit, Michigan to Albanian immigrant parents, Shreli began acting in Eisenhower High School's theater program and later trained with The Second City and Detroit Ensemble Theatre. He launched his career in Detroit's independent film scene, contributing to local projects like 8 Mile before appearing in Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2007), John Singleton's Abduction (2011), Eli Roth's Hostel series, AMC's Low Winter Sun (2013), and alongside Jason Momoa in the Sundance Channel's The Red Road (2014).
In 2015, Shreli wrote and starred in Cash Only, a gritty crime drama set in Detroit that received praise for its authenticity and emotional resonance. Through his Detroit-based company, Nickname Projects, he has produced and collaborated on several notable films and commercials, including Killerman, It Follows, and Zana.
His upcoming work, Broke English, an experimental feature-documentary that Shreli wrote, directed, and stars in multiple roles, is scheduled for release in 2026.
