Biografia
Ogura Yuko, born in Mobara, central Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese actress, voice actor, radio personality, television host, product spokeswoman, former gravure idol, and model. She began her entertainment career at eighteen in 2001 and released 69 DVDs between 2001 and 2010. She appeared in TV series and films, gaining recognition for her cute voice and vibrant personality. She later gained attention for claiming to be a princess named Apple-Momoka ('Ringo-Momoka) from the apple-shaped planet Korin, arriving on Earth in a strawberry-shaped chariot—a story she stopped discussing in 2009, though it had been featured in a travelogue earlier.
Ogura authored a book on the economics of all-you-can-eat meat restaurants and declared ownership of a yakiniku restaurant in Osaka in 2008. However, during a court case in 2010, she denied owning the restaurant and stated she was only its commercial endorser. She contributed a stock market article to the magazine Diamond ZAi and performed the ending theme for the anime School Rumble. Between 2002 and 2008, she released five singles and two full-length albums. Her endorsements included banks, department stores, and beverage brands, and she also launched her own iPhone app.
She attended cooking school alongside Aki Hoshino and left gravure adult modeling in 2011. At 27, she married hairdresser Kikuchi Isao on October 7, 2011, in Hawaii. Following their wedding, she published a photo book titled Ogura Yuko No Happy Wedding, one of her approximately 29 photo collections. She gave birth to a son on June 5, 2012, and another son in November 2016. Reports later surfaced of her husband's affair with fellow celebrity Umakoshi Sachiko from Platinum Production, the agency managing both. Before her marriage, Ogura was managed by Avilla agency. The couple divorced on March 3, 2017.
Ogura is a dog owner and enjoys video games, cooking—about which she has published books—baking, and eating bread. She holds a 'bread advisor' certificate.
