Quirin Berg is a partner and co-founder of LEONINE Studios. As Managing Director of LEONINE Holding and Co-Chief Production Officer, he oversees the group’s entire fiction production. Serving as Chief Creative Officer, he guides the creative vision of LEONINE Studios, a leading independent media company in Germany and part of the MEDIAWAN Group. Berg studied production and media management at the University of Television and Film Munich. In 2003, he co-founded Wiedemann & Berg Film with Max Wiedemann, followed by the launch of W&B Television in 2010. Both companies became part of LEONINE Studios in January 2020. As partner, managing director, and producer, he has overseen more than 170 film and television productions. His credits include the Oscar®-winning film THE LIVES OF OTHERS, the twice Oscar®-nominated WERK OHNE AUTOR, and popular hits like MÄNNERHERZEN, VATERFREUDEN, and WILLKOMMEN BEI DEN HARTMANNS. In television, he produced acclaimed series such as 4 BLOCKS (Warner TV), DER PASS (Sky), and DARK, the first German Netflix Original, which was named the world’s most popular Netflix Original by Rotten Tomatoes. Berg is a member of the German Film Academy, European Film Academy, and British Film Academy. He has received numerous accolades, including Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year, the European Film Award, British Film Award, Austrian Film Award, German Film Award, Bavarian Film Award, German Television Award, Bavarian Television Award, Grimme Prize, Honorary Award from the Baden-Baden Television Film Festival, GQ Men of the Year Award, LA Critics Award, Golden Camera, and the Bambi.
