Allen Haff is an antique dealer, appraiser, television personality, and animal rescuer whose enthusiasm for discovering hidden treasures started long before his TV career. Raised by a mother who was an antique dealer and a father who sold used cars, Allen spent summers attending estate sales and auctions across Michigan. At age 12, he purchased, restored, and sold an old antique steamer trunk for $300, sparking a lifelong interest in uncovering value in overlooked items. While buying and selling antiques to support his education, Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts from Adrian College, majoring in English, Journalism, and Psychology. At 24, he opened his first antique shop in Houston, Texas, gaining recognition as an expert dealer with a keen eye for Americana and unique pieces. After booking a national commercial, Allen relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 seeking "more fun and bigger finds." He founded Angel City Sales, an estate sale and consignment business that has assisted hundreds of Southern California families in liquidating estates, collections, and personal belongings for over twenty years. His practical experience led to a television debut on Clean House, where he earned the nickname "The Yard Sale Guy." He found valuable items, appraised family heirlooms, and encouraged homeowners to convert clutter into cash through yard sales, supporting over 50 home renovations. The show's popularity opened doors to further TV roles. Allen was chosen to co-host Auction Hunters, which became Spike TV’s top-rated original series. Over more than 100 episodes, he co-hosted and contributed significantly to the show's creative direction. Today, Allen still runs Angel City Sales while traveling nationwide to attend auctions, appraise collections, and uncover some of America’s rarest treasures.
