Biografia
Born in Argentina in 1974, Luis Pascual studied Communication Arts and Marketing, completing several courses at Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires. He entered the industry in 1995 and has since gained extensive experience as a Producer and Director.
Pascual began his career at Argentina Televisora Color (ATC) and Television Federal (TELEFE) in Buenos Aires. He later co-managed his own production company for several years before transitioning to executive roles as Producer and Director at Post Media Inc. and American One Entertainment Corp. in Miami, Florida.
He has worked with nearly every film and videotape format, producing content for cinema and television, including corporate videos, pop promos, short films, TV programs, series, soap operas, prime-time shows, live TV, comedy, drama, commercials, video clips, hotel channels, trailers, title sequences, infomercials, and music concerts.
Pascual’s most notable television producer credits include the series "El Rafa" by Alejandro Doria and the prime-time soap opera "Verano del '98," both acclaimed productions aired on Television Federal in Buenos Aires.
He has also served as an independent consultant for various television production companies such as Post Media Argentina, Fenix Entertainment Group, Sky Blue Producciones, Quest Artes Audiovisuales, and Megaticket Producciones, as well as advertising agencies including Leo Burnett and Agulla y Bachetti. Additionally, he has successfully planned and purchased television airtime for two enterprises he produced and directed.
An accomplished scriptwriter, Pascual was recently commissioned to create several commercial spots for a U.S. beauty brand. Currently, his company is developing a feature film script for Hollywood. Since March 2005, he has been based in Argentina working on this project.
With a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology for television and film production, Pascual was the first in Argentina to direct a website commercial created in a virtual studio and pioneered the use of 24-hour real-time cameras capturing ordinary people and situations, which became the foundation for reality shows.
Currently, Pascual focuses on Post Media Inc., American One Entertainment Corp., and Caesars Films, independent production companies specializing in film, television, and commercials. He also acts as a media correspondent representative in Miami for several Argentine production companies.
Since February 2005, Luis Gerardo Pascual has been working on a sci-fi trilogy for Hollywood, based in Buenos Aires—marking a unique occurrence in Argentina.
Additionally, Pascual has lectured at multiple universities about life as an independent freelance media correspondent and regularly conducts workshops to help beginners gain industry experience.
