DYLAN CASH
Award-winning actor Dylan Cash made his television debut at age 4 on CBS's popular family comedy show "Kids Say The Darndest Things." He captivated host Bill Cosby by confidently declaring his ambition to become a movie star. This moment remains one of the series' most memorable highlights. In 2004, Dylan had the pleasure of working with Mr. Cosby again while filming Fat Albert, a live-action, feature-length adaptation of the beloved cartoon series.
By the age of 10, Dylan had an impressive list of credits including The Polar Express, Fat Albert, Bad Santa, Judging Amy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Affair, Malcolm in the Middle, The Division, and more. In 2003, he won the Young Artist Award for his powerful portrayal of Michael Corinthos III on the Emmy Award-winning daytime drama General Hospital on ABC. He earned another Young Artist Award nomination in 2004 for the same role. Dylan portrayed Michael from 2002 to 2009 and was the youngest actor ever to be signed to a contract on a major daytime television series.
Dylan also appeared alongside legendary Julie Andrews in an animated short created in the style of the chalk drawings featured in the original film. This short was produced exclusively for the 40th Anniversary Special Edition DVD of Walt Disney’s Academy Award-winning film Mary Poppins. Together, Dylan and Ms. Andrews enter the animated chalk world to tell a whimsical story based on "The Cat That Looked at a King" by P.L. Travers.
He has appeared in over 60 national commercials, including campaigns for ADT Security System, McDonald's, Johnson & Johnson Pledge Wax, Sargento Foods, KBKids.com (Toy Story 2), Qwest Communications, 800.com, PNC Bank, Toyota, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AAA Insurance, MasterCard, Suzuki, Motel 6, Quaker Oats, Energizer Bunny, and Farmers Insurance.
Dylan served as the spokesman for Fuji Film's "Meet the Greens" national television campaign, filming four national commercials titled Date, Charades, Flowers, and Miracle. The campaign also appeared in leading magazines, Sunday newspaper inserts, and on outdoor billboards.
In 2010, Dylan founded Poolside Production, an independent production company focused on developing television and film projects. He is currently working on a graphic novel and creating characters and television series within the animation industry.
