Biografia
Vince Grittani is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, producer, author, illustrator, and cartoonist with a career spanning theatre, television, film, and publishing. He co-hosted, wrote, and produced the first five seasons of Cottage Life Television, then created and starred in The Weekend Guy, which aired across Canada and the U.S.
His writing credits include drama, comedy, animation, soaps, and children’s programming for HBO, ABC, CBS, FOX, Warner Bros., Nelvana, Jim Henson Productions, CTV, and more. His career launched with the Toronto smash Yuppies! The Musical, followed by numerous acclaimed stage works including Wake Me When It’s Over, The Audit, and the award-winning one-woman show Quiet! I’m Talking-later adapted as the screenplay My Father’s Secret Muse.
Founder of the Muskoka Theatre Project and longtime arts champion, Vince relocated to Nova Scotia in 2020, where he now develops new film and media projects through Fugitive Lobster Productions. His first feature Life’s a Joke... And Then You Die! is slated for 2026, a co-production with the UK.
