Lora Kojovic (pronounced Koy-o-vich) is a rising star driven by an unwavering commitment to embody hard work and elegance throughout her entertainment career. She is fluent in four languages—English, French, Russian, and Bosnian—a successful runway and print model, and a member of several National Honor Societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Phi Eta Sigma. With the dedication of a true professional and the passion of an artist, a long and successful career awaits this captivating talent.
At fifteen, Lora’s family relocated to the United States, carrying little more than a suitcase of summer clothes. Originally intended as a temporary visit, the outbreak of civil war in her homeland of Yugoslavia (now Bosnia) compelled them to make America their permanent home. Despite limited English skills, Lora declined placement in an ESL (English as a Second Language) class, determined to be treated as an equal among her peers. She devoted six to eight hours daily to studying, maintained a 4.0 GPA, trained tirelessly to become the top-ranked varsity tennis player throughout high school, and earned numerous academic honors—all to prove that the challenges of a new country and language would not hold her back.
After graduating high school—where her senior class named her "Class Bookworm"—Lora ventured to Milan to pursue modeling. Her striking beauty and six-foot stature made her a natural on the runway. However, her passion for academics drew her back to the United States, where she enrolled at the University of Wisconsin. Double-majoring in Finance and French, she graduated at the top of her class of over 800 students in just three and a half years, earning Honors and a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her exceptional academic record led to recruitment by numerous investment banks, ultimately landing her at Morgan Stanley’s headquarters in New York City’s theater district.
One night after work, a chorus of voices from a nearby acting studio drew her inside through cracked doors. Sitting quietly at the back, she became captivated by the craft of acting. Without hesitation, she enrolled in evening classes, eager to explore self-expression in this new, uninhibited setting. Within months, much to the surprise of her colleagues and family, Lora chose to leave finance behind and fully commit to a career in acting.
With her diverse background and remarkable work ethic, Lora’s journey is only beginning.
