Sharon Bialy is an acclaimed Casting Director specializing in Television, Film, and Theater. Her recent television work includes credits on Julia, Barry, The Handmaid's Tale, Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, The Act, The Walking Dead, Invasion, Perry Mason, Dead To Me, The Society, and The Comey Movie. Her film credits feature El Camino (Breaking Bad Movie), Cop Shop, Secret in Their Eyes, and Black & White. Some of her favorite past films are Drugstore Cowboy, Point Break, Rudy, Mr. Holland's Opus, Reign O'er Me, and Red Belt. Notable past television projects include Phil Spector, The Unit, Jericho, Mind of the Married Man, and Picket Fences.
Theater has been a consistent passion throughout Ms. Bialy's career, with 15 years collaborating with Des McAnuff at the La Jolla Playhouse and involvement in productions at Lincoln Center, The Old Globe, South Coast Rep, and The Guthrie. On Broadway, she cast The Anarchist, Jersey Boys, Race, and The Farnsworth Invention. A former board member of the Casting Society of America, she has earned 36 Artios nominations. Ms. Bialy received her first Emmy nomination for the final season of Breaking Bad and has been nominated nine times in total. In 2011, she was honored with the Media Access Award for her dedication to casting actors with disabilities. Her book, "How To Audition On Camera," was widely praised. For the past 25 years, she has partnered with Sherry Thomas at Bialy/Thomas & Associates.
