Mark Brunetz began his career in content production in 1990, co-creating and starring in two of Jane Fonda's best-selling fitness videos. In 1992, he founded Inventing Fitness, producing celebrity-led fitness products for direct response marketing and QVC. By 1995, Mark co-founded Fortis Films with Sandra Bullock, securing a first-look producing deal with Warner Bros. Pictures.
In 1999, he shifted his focus to special event design, serving as creative director for Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino’s in-house production company. The following year, he launched his own design firm, specializing in residential and commercial projects across Southern California. His television career then took off, hosting MTV’s Crib Crashers and appearing in over 300 makeover episodes, including nine seasons of the Emmy-winning show Clean House.
Mark’s design work, known for its blend of creativity and authenticity, has been featured in outlets such as Good Morning America, Elle Decor, and The New York Times. In 2008, he expanded his media presence by publishing his first book, Take the U Out of Clutter, with Penguin Random House, and launching a home furnishings line on HSN. He has also created content for major lifestyle brands like Princess Cruises and the International Design Guild, with his work appearing in Architectural Digest and Vanity Fair.
