In an industry where exceptional talent rarely goes unnoticed, David was proud in 2018-19 to work on a diverse range of acting projects. From realistic characters in the 2019-20 Game of Thrones (NDA), to Yarrow the Lead Freelancer in Anthem, Magnus the Russian Baby in Boss Baby! on Netflix, and main roles (Cid, Voyd, Wedge Kincaid, Vyv Dorden, Bahmut) in Final Fantasy, David continues to be the versatile chameleon actor—often unrecognizable from one role to another. (How does that help a career? Ha!)
It's common to hear David voicing multiple characters within the same game or animated project. In 2019’s Battle Wake Arcade Game, he voiced all four lead Pirate and Ghost characters. His animated movie credits include Son of Big Foot 2, where he voices several key lead roles (NDA). And if you watch Goldie and Bear on Disney Jr., you'd be surprised to recognize David having fun voicing several recurring characters.
Over the past year and a half, David has contributed to thirty-two video games and numerous cartoons, many still under NDA. Many of these projects are with top-tier studios and producers like Disney, Cartoon Network, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Activision, Nickelodeon, EA, Bioware, and more. (Yes, Jiraiya the Toad Sage keeps busy!)
In narration, David’s dramatic and compelling voice is featured in movie and game trailers. In Anthem, he narrates the Fall of Freemark with powerful, emotional tones accompanying stunning visuals. (Search YouTube for "Fall of Freemark, Anthem.")
For Creed: The VR Experience, David was honored to voice Sylvester Stallone’s iconic Rocky Balboa. His voice match is so precise that he also voiced Rocky/Sly in the game trailer commercial, with no one realizing it wasn’t the original actor. David excels in voice matching and dubbing as well!
David’s special talents extend to authentic animal sounds—dogs, parrots, cows, pigs, and more. In 2019, he lent these skills to a major project (NDA).
As a seasoned commercial voice-over artist, David voiced half a dozen political ads in 2018, provided the authoritative voice in national Toyota campaigns, played the Guru in McDonald’s radio spots, and voiced a Yeti in an animated Jack in the Box commercial.
