After owning two successful salons in New York City, Jovan shifted her focus to the entertainment industry, quickly becoming a sought-after expert in both hair and makeup. Her work graces the sets of major network and cable shows, Broadway theaters, opera houses, and blockbuster movie productions.
Known for her keen eye, master-level makeup artistry, and trendsetting hair styling, Jovan doesn't just create a look-she crafts a presence. In addition to her work as a stylist, Jovan served as Associate Producer for the Broadway revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof-directed by Debbie Allen and starring an all-star cast including James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad, Terrence Howard, Boris Kodjoe, and Anika Noni Rose. The production became the highest-grossing play of 2008.
Today, Jovan is retired and resides in Sarasota, Florida.
